Captain's Message

Since joining Oake Manor in 2013, I have aspired to become Club Captain.  Being asked to serve as Charles's Vice Captain was both an honour and a privilege, and I eagerly accepted the opportunity. I extend my gratitude to Charles, the owners, employees, and members for their support as I step into this role.

I view this position as a chance to foster collaboration and communication among the members, building on the success of the 2024/25 season.  I am fully aware of the dedication this role demands, and I am grateful to my wife, Carrie, for her support, especially since we were married in December.

For the 2025/26 season, the chosen Captain's Charity (Cub, Ladies & Seniors) will be Children's Hospice South West. I plan to organise social events throughout the year to bring members together and support this worthy cause.

I wish everyone a successful golfing season in 2025/26.  Please get in touch with me with any ideas for the club or course improvements.

I will do my utmost to implement feasible suggestions.
